Buck was 88 years old. He was retired from the State of Florida. He was a Mason, a Shriner and a country music musician. He loved to play the steel guitar and the fiddle. Buck was born in Sneads, Florida on September 12, 1933. He passed away peacefully at his home in Tallahassee.
Betty was his wife of 72 years. She also was retired from the State of Florida. She was born Betty Jean Roberts in Donaldsonville, Georgia on September 16, 1934. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and dancing. She was 87 when she passed away. After 72 years of marriage they passed away two weeks apart.
They were survived by one daughter, Rebecca J. Boone; one grandson, Justin J. Givens; and three great grandchildren, Avery Leighton Givens, Drake Jennings Givens, and Rhett Thomas Givens.
The joint funeral will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, on Friday, April 15th, 2022 at 2pm.
