Carl Wiggins, 80, of Tallahassee, died Tuesday (3/8/2016) at Big Bend Hospice. Carl was born and raised in the Thomasville, GA area and came to Tallahassee 50 years ago. He had been in sales all his life, working routes for bread and snack companies as well as in insurance. Carl enjoyed fishing and all types of sports as well as attending ball games.
Survivors include his daughter: Teresa Mathis and Aubrey Carroll of Crawfordville; sons: Kenneth R. Wiggins of Tallahassee, Danny and Shannon Wiggins of Havana; former wife: Laverne Wiggins; brother: Harold Wiggins of Thomasville, GA; three grandchildren: Justin Mathis, Makenzie Wiggins, Ansley Wiggins; and one great-grandchild: Emma Mathis.
