Carolyn Childs Dollar

Carolyn Childs Dollar, age 73, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Carolyn was born in Columbus, Georgia on April 28, 1948. She was married to Bobby Gene Dollar on June 4, 1965. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a passion for its beliefs and teachings, but most of all, her grandchildren. She was survived by her devoted husband, Bobby G. Dollar, of 56 years.

She is also survived by two loving children; Scott Sheldon Dollar and Tracy Dollar (Paul) Wilkes of Crawfordville. Five grandchildren survive to cherish her memory; Erica DeNeen Hultzman, Clinton Blake Dollar, Clayton Jesse Dollar, Brianna Paige Dollar and Carolyn Nicole Dollar. Three great-grandchildren will remember her legacy; Bryce William Hultzman, Brandon Joseph Paiva, Zayden Austin Warren and one on the way. She is also survived by sister, Mary Buckhalter, and brother, Gene Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Wilbur Childs, Mother, Ailene Childs, and Brothers, Clint Childs, Wilbur Childs, Donnie Childs, and Ronnie Childs and half brothers Charles Lewis, Willie C. Childs, Wilbur E. Childs.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5455 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32317. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM, 5455 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32317. A burial immediately following the service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 at White Church Cemetery, Woodville, FL.
