Charles Seth Greene

Charles S. (“Buddy”) Greene, 83, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on December 7, 2018 in Wakulla County, Florida. He was born in White Springs, served Honorably in the Air Force, worked in Tallassee with the FDOT and Leon County, preached and pastored churches across North Florida, lived in Wakulla County, and touched the lives of all he met. He is survived by his son, Chuck Greene (Wakulla High, 1978), of Orlando, his daughter, Tara Roberts (Wakulla High 1981), of Tallahassee, son-law, Michael, daughter-in-law, Erin, four grandchildren, Garth, Brianna, and Shea Greene and Jenny Florin, brothers Dell and Steve, of White Springs, sisters Bonnie and Sivilla, of Jacksonville, the spouses of his siblings, and many nieces and nephews and others who called him “Uncle Buddy.” He was loved by all and pure of heart and motive. A gentle giant, he will be remembered for his love and kindness. He is in the arms of his mother, Ailene, his father, Kossie, and Jesus. Viewing is at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee on Tuesday, December 11, from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, White Springs, Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Association.
