

She was born in Altha, Fla., to her parents Roy O. and Romania Bartlett. She was retired from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles after 38 years of service.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Virginia Singleton; grandchildren, Deni Clayton (Ed) of Tallahassee, and Kelly Bell of Sanford, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Amy Leigh Cook of Tallahassee, and Keegan Bell of Sanford, Fla.; two sisters, Margie Beane (Lester) of Orlando, Fla., and Annette Lee of Quincy, Fla.; two brothers, Dozier Bartlett of St. George Island, Fla., and W.F. McAllister (Doris) of Tallahassee.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 4th, from 6 - 8 p.m. EDT at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home Riggins Road Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, May 5th at 2 p.m. EDT, at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Bend Hospice House in memory of Christine B. Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Mitchell; her parents; her stepmother, Minnie McAllister Bartlett; her son, Leland Singleton; two brothers, Roy Bartlett and Gene Bartlett.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
