

Born in Folkston, Georgia, March 7th, 1950, to Ralph and Eula Clark, he moved to Tallahassee in 1967 and graduated from Rickards High School in 1969. After Graduation, David was drafted into the United States Army where he served honorably in Vietnam, earning the Army Commendation Medal. After his service, David married his high school sweetheart, Anzila Crowder of Tallahassee. He worked for the City of Tallahassee Electrical Department and retired after 30+ years. David was owner/operator of Clark's Backflow Testing, Inc. during his retirement years. He was an active member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church and the Good Times Sunday School Class.
David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anzila; son, Travis (Cathy); granddaughter, Allison; mother, Eula Clark; brother, Roy Bennett (Cindy); sisters, Margie Foskey (Ed), Anachka Rougas (John), Linda Hendricks.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Clark and sister Joyce Degl.
David loved his Lord, his family, traveling and fishing. He was a caring father and Papa.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the US Coast Guard, and the volunteers who assisted in the search and recovery.
A Memorial Service in celebration of the life of David Richard Clark will be held at The Thomasville Road Baptist Church on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:30 am: 3131 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL.
