David Reid Stewart III died on January 3, 2026. He is survived by his daughters Hannah Stewart, Ansley Murray (Benjamin), Cadie Stewart, his granddaughter Alyana, his sisters Kayce Giglio (Chris), Margaret Stewart, Sarah Lewis (George), Jessica Stewart, and his mother Connie Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father David R. Stewart, Jr.
David graduated from Leon High School in 1984. He then went on to attend the University of Florida where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He transferred and graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Construction Management.
David was a passionate man who took great pride in his daughters, and loved his girls deeply.
Aside from the love he had for his family, David loved fishing and being out on the water with his friends. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. There will be a public dedication mass held at 9am Friday, January 16th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with a small reception to follow.
