Don was very specific on not having any form of a ceremony just requesting that his ashes be spread along with his mothers. Having said that, I am going to do exactly the opposite.
Donald R. Langston was 74 years old. He was a brother to Janet. Father to Brian and a grandfather to Kole and Elizabeth.
Don was a lifelong resident of the Tallahassee area. He worked as an Xray technician locally. But most knew him from his real job. You see my father was a local musician. Specifically, a drummer.
It is truly amazing how many lives he touched. To see the smiles, the laughter, watching friends and strangers come together on a dance floor. Throughout my life that was the one constant, no matter where I had been I always knew when I visited, I would find where he was playing and experience that joy, that music No matter what was going on in the world at that moment, his music was there bringing people together
Don was and forever will be a great father and grandfather who will be terribly missed.
