

She was born in Fort Myers, Florida and was the daughter of the late Oaky Hansen and Katherine McNeill Hansen. She was also preceded in death by her brother Karl McNeill Hansen.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Zimmermann Hansen, four nieces and two nephews: Kathryn Hansen Lorentzson, (Julius), Karl M. Hansen, Jr. (Terri), John Michael Hansen (Ann), Margaret (Peggy) Hansen Austin, (Charles), Jane Hansen Morgan, (Tim), and Elizabeth Hansen Laird, (Michael) and fifteen Great nieces and nephews and twelve Great, Great nieces and nephews.
Frances Jeanne attended Florida State College for Women, now Florida State University, and was the first female draftsman for Humble Oil which later became Exxon Mobil. Thereafter, she worked for and retired from the State of Tallahassee, Department of Natural Resources, as a draftsman in Land Management.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Ola Joyce, for her loving care while Frances Jeanne lived at Harbor Chase, for the last 9 years, since the entire family lives outside the State of Florida. They also extend their thanks to Deborah Simmons, the staff of Harbor Chase, and A & W Companion Services for her care.
FJ always said "She was told, there aren't but two like her in town, and she was both of them!"
Visitation will be held 12-2 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel. Funeral services will held at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
