

Gary is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marian; daughter Audrey Parker; grandchildren Aubrey Parker, Shelton Williams and Brody Williams; ex-wife Christine Kimmons; daughter Angela (Mark) Dunlap; grandchildren Lauren Dunlap, Cassie Dunlap; and great-granddaughter Harper Evans. He is survived by his sister Mary P. Nelson of Laurenburg, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Winnie Peterman Parker; brother Jimmy L. Parker, Sr.; and sister Carolyn Sue Schomas.
He graduated from Rickards High School and worked as assistant manager for several automotive parts companies in Tallahassee. His fondest childhood memories were fishing at Spring Creek, St. Mark's Lighthouse, Ochlockonee River and Lake Talquin with his family. His interests included attending drag racing events, classic car shows, traveling to Walt Disney World, Mississippi and cruising. He loved classic rock music and favorite groups were Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and the Beatles. His favorite foods included Lemon and Red Velvet Cake along with his Mom's Pecan Pies.
Above all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
