Gary Allen Walker

Gary Allen Walker retired at the age of 51, he was a parts chaser with Chrysler, Sterling Stamping in Sterling Heights Michigan, a son of the late Allen Gary and Theodora Faye Walker. Born on September 18 1944 in Cass City Michigan but lived most of his life in Argyle, Michigan and Brown City, Michigan, passed away at the age of 78 at Big Bend Hospice, Tallahassee, Florida on September 2, 2023, after a year and a half of a rare neurological degenerative disease.

Gary served in the United States Army for 6 years and 6 months. Gary enjoyed walking, music of all kinds, in the end wanted to hear Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Elvis Presley, He loved fishing, hunting.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Allen Gary Walker and mother Theodora Faye Walker (Ingles), Brother Robert Henry Walker who was married to Patricia Sue Walker (Wallace), his wife Pauline Betty Walker (Shagene) of 50 years.

Gary is survived by his daughter Donna Faye Jenkins (Walker), his son Robert Gary Walker and his wife Marsha Lynne Walker (Duckworth). Grandchildren Matthew Allen Walker and his wife Sydney Walker (Antle), Joseph Jacob Anthony Prause, Pride Elizabeth Prause, Joy Candace Prause and Theadora Faye Walker Prause. Great grandchildren Lukas Antle and Carson Matthew Walker, his nephew Donald Gary Walker and David Lee Walker. Pets, Rosy and Lily (who will miss him dearly)

In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will be held. He wants a celebration of life service with lots of BBQ ribs, all kinds of meat and beer. We will announce the date and location for this celebration at a later date.
