He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 56 years, Patricia Ann Chambley. He is survived by his brother, Johnny Vanarsdall (Quinella); his three children, Christopher Chambley, Ronald Chambley, and Angela Planner (Bobby); five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly and carry his love in their hearts always.
He had a personality as strong as his opinions, and he never hesitated to speak his mind. He could dish out a good joke—sometimes at your expense—but always with a twinkle in his eye. Those who knew him best understood that behind the teasing and tough talk was a loyal heart and a deep love for his family and friends.
His passing leaves a deep void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in his laughter and warmth. His memory will live on in the countless stories, smiles, and love he leaves behind.
