
Harold Webster Benjamin, an Engineer, passed away at the age of 81, at home, on Monday, July 21, 2025 in Tallahassee, Florida. Harold was born in DeLand, Florida to Harold and Mae Pearl Benjamin on January 27, 1943.
Harold was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Tallahassee, Florida. He enjoyed basketball, football and baseball in his younger years and scuba diving/snorkeling, fishing and camping in his later years.
Harold attended the University of South Florida College of Engineering.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold W. Benjamin Sr., mother, Mae Pearl Benjamin and his sister, Alta Mae Benjamin Resch.
Harold is survived by his wife Karen Hoover Benjamin, and they shared nearly 53 years of marriage. He has three children, Tillie Mae (Marc) Feinberg, Matthew Todd (Viviene) Benjamin and Michael Travis Benjamin; two brothers, Charles S. (Becky) Benjamin and Thomas L. Benjamin and a brother-in-law, James C. (Nancy) Hoover.
Harold has 6 grandchildren, Nicole Feinberg Dunham, Christopher Feinberg, Elizabeth Feinberg, Jasper Benjamin, Tallulah Benjamin and Coralie Benjamin; 2 great-grandsons, Lucas Dunham and Elliott Dunham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.
