
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Culey's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Rd. Chapel. Visitation Will be held one hour prior to service, 10:00-11:00 AM.
She was born in Clearwater, FL. Mrs. Browning, a member of Phi Mu Sorority, graduated from FSU in 1952 with a B.S. in Business Administration. She was a career homemaker, member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church and the Joy Bible Group.
Mrs. Browning is survived by daughter Beth Browning Gorton and husband Mike of Havana, Florida; sons Stuart W. Browning and wife Teresa of Sacramento, California and Guy R. Browning of Tallahassee, Florida. She is also survived by grandson Kevin R. Browning and granddaughters Renata M. Ballesteros and Ana Maria Browning, all of Sacramento, California and Caroline I. Browning and Audrey J. Browning of Tallahassee, Florida, brothers-in-law Ricou Browning of Davie, Florida and Jack Cowden of Ocala, Florida along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. "Buddy" Browning of Havana, Florida, brother Leonard W. Abrams of Fairfax, Virginia and sister Joyce A. Thomas of Brevard, North Carolina.
The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to everyone that has given care, expressed concern and supported Mom through prayer.
