Jack D. Parsons,72, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Tazewell County, Virginia, son of the late Claude Parsons and wife Gladys, mother Molly Payne, husband Ernest Moore.
He served in the Air Force, was stationed in Korea, and was honorably discharged in 1965. He was always proud of his military service, very patriotic, loving family, God and country until the end.
He enjoyed woodworking, painting, writing and music.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dolores, Tallahassee, FL; children, Michael D. and wife Susan of Philadelphia, PA, Ronald D. of Ill and daughter, Terri of Tallahassee, FL; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother-in-law, Jerry Wright , and wife Dorothy of Dante, VA. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Final resting place, Wright Family Cemetery in Dante VA.
Will be greatly missed by all.
