James "Jim" E. Anderson

Jim graduated from Leon High School in 1963 and attended Tallahassee Community College after he was honorably discharged fom his service in the Navy as a diver in 1966. He loved swimming, being outdoors and watching baseball and softball. Jim worked has a food distributor for over 25 years in the Panhandle region. His second career began 17 years ago with Publix where he worked in various capacities in the seafood department.

Jim was married to and preceded in death by his wife, Edna Faye Anderson. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Harry Davis and wife Diane; his sister-in-law, Debbie Davis Schnarre and husband Paul; 4 neices, Elizabeth Davis, Sara Jane Davis, Kristie Schnarre, Katie Schnarre; 1 nephew, Glenn Davis and his mother-in-law, Flossie Davis.

Jim was a kind, loving person who always thought more about other's feelings than his own. He was thankful for life and love. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We Love You Jim!

The family will receive friends at Culley’s MeadowWood, 1737 Riggins Road at 2pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 and the service will begin at 3pm.
