She was born in Tallahassee, Florida on October 1, 1957. She is survived by her daughter, Mattie Carolina Cochran; son, Zachary Taylor Harrell Cochran; grandchildren, Everette Cochran, Liam Cochran and Isabell Cochran; and brother, Chuck Harrell.
