

J.R. was born in Cumberland, Maryland on February 12, 1941. He graduated from Court Reporting School in Washington, DC.
Following his marriage to Liz Rotruck on November 21, 1992, he retired from a 30 year career in court reporting as the owner and operator of A-1 Stenotype Reporters in Tallahassee, Florida.
His life-long passion was fishing, and he was a member of the Elks Lodge and served as president of the local Bass Masters Fishing Club of Tallahassee and enjoyed gardening.
He was survived by his wife of 26 years, Liz Rotruck, and his children Debbie Krick, Vicki Weidle, Marion Kittrell and Stanley Carr, and his loving grandchildren, Brandon Krick, Courtney Krick, Victoria Carr, Ansley Weidle, Devon Peddie, Jake Weidle, River Peddie, Mackenzie Kittrell and Dawson Kittrell and two great grandchildren, Logan and Emma Krick and his brother Jason Rotruck.
He was predeceased by his son Jonathan Lemaire and brother Jim Rotruck.
Jerry will be forever remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends.
