Jerry D. Pace, 79, of Tallahassee died Thurs., August 28th. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Jerry came to the Tallahassee area in 1964. After serving for many years as a Systems Engineer for IBM he retired in 1993. Jerry served in the US Air Force and was a member of Grace Church of Tallahassee. Survivors include wife, Kay Pace; children Mark ( Beth) Pace, Mike (Pat) Pace, Jay( Rebecca) Culley, Vic Culley, Kim (Randy) Shuster, and Grace (Ed) Shulla; grandchildren; Lauren (Jason), Ashley (Larry), Lyndsi (Mike), Faith ( James), Hannah, Savanna, Emily, Kellan, Luke, Joseph S, John, Joseph C, Joshua, Vic and David; Great grandson Braden, and brother Don (Garnet) Pace. Jerry is preceded in death by his brother, Dean Pace.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 29th from 5-6 PM at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd., with a funeral service following at 6 pm. The family asks that guests join them after the service for a reception at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice, the Wounded Warrior Project and / or to the charity of your choice.
