John Robert Carnaghi, 67, lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on February 20, 2013.
John was predeceased by his parents, Pete and Pauline Carnaghi and his sister, Mary Alice Lelli.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy; his son, Jason; daughter-in-law, Amy Osteryoung; and his beloved grandson, Jackson, St. Augustine, FL; sister-in-law, Jan (Doug) Alred; brother-in-law, Thomas (Linda) Lelli; nephew, Scott (Shelli) Alred; his nieces, Kelley (Kevin) Force, Lisa (Phil) Ferneau, Karen (Rob) Austin; and several great nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held in his honor at noon (12 p.m.) on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the Co-Cathedral of Saint Thomas More.
The family will receive friends and guests at the church one hour prior to the service. All are invited to attend the celebration of life reception at the Florida State Conference Center, located at 555 W. Pensacola Street, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. A private burial is planned.
Limited parking will be available at the FSU Alumni Center located one block west of the church. For those attending the reception, there will be ample parking available at the Civic Center and limited space in the parking garage connected to FSCC/Turnbull Building.
