John Cuthbert Chapman passed away at the age of 56 on Thursday, the 18th of November 2010. John was born April 3, 1954 in Grand Rapids Michigan but grew up in St.Petersburg Fl. In his youth John was an avid baseball player for his high school, Dixie Hollins, where he graduated from in 1972. He received his bachelor’s degree from The University of South Florida in 1977. In 1980 he moved to Tallahassee Fl where he worked for McGowen Electric and Wesco Distrubution for most of his life. He loved his family, fishing, cooking and history.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Sarah Ann and Sister, Lynn Chapman of St.Petersburg Fl. He is survived by his children, Lindsey and Reid Chapman of Tallahassee Fl. His father , Dudley Chapman of St.Petersburg Fl. his brothers, Jim Chapman of Birmingham and Richard Chapman of Largo Fl.
