John C Rush, 75 of Tallahassee died Tuesday (5/29). A native of Oklahoma City, OK he came to Tallahassee following his retirement from the US Air Force where he was a Master Sergeant. While with the Air Force one of his duties was as the manager of the Yacht Club. After coming to Tallahassee he worked for the state with the DPBR until retiring and then with Publix. A very outgoing person Johan also assisted running a Charter Boat. John enjoyed the outdoors and spent his time fishing, gardening and at the beach. He also travelled anytime he could get away.
Survivors include his wife: Martha; son: Chris of Phelan, CA; step daughter: Rebecca Cates of Albany, GA; and two granddaughters: Rhiannon and Tara.
