

Born in Florida on May 13, 1950, to Benjamin and Shelly Reams, Johnny was a proud Marine Veteran who served his country with honor for 10 years. After his military service, he worked in mobile home relocation and spent many years enjoying his passion for fishing.
Johnny was a devoted father, uncle, and grandfather, whose warmth and humor brightened the lives of everyone he knew. He had a wonderful sense of humor that made him a joy to be around, and he cherished every moment spent with his family.
An avid fisherman, Johnny found peace and happiness every time he cast his line into the water. He also had a love for baking, and his delicious creations were always a hit with his loved ones.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Shelly Reams; his second wife, DeRheta Reams; and his three brothers, Albert Reams, Reuben Reams, and Elmer (Dutchie) Reams: Sister Nancy Nichols; And a special niece Cathy Jo Sherouse.
He is survived by his two daughters, Joyce Pafford and Karen Dupree; his son, John Reams, from his first wife, Betty; his grandchildren, Danie’ Russell, Casie Pafford, Lauren Williams, and Amber Harvey; as well as his great-grandchildren, Makayla Russell, Travis Russell, Brantley Russell, Lilly Pafford, Addison Gardner, Cheyenne (Tobias) Gardner, Owen Cowell, Elijah Cowell, and Colton Chason. The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Tammy Williams for taking Johnny into her home and providing him with loving care during his final years. Your kindness and devotion meant the world to him and to his family.
Johnny will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the love he gave to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts
An inurnment for Johnny will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL.
