Jonnie Dianne Lairsey, age 67, of Tallahassee went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 20, 2021.

She was a painter for Gandy Enterprise and Leon County Schools. During her employment at Gandy, she painted the Governor’s mansion. She was a hard worker in many professions. She was a member of New Light Church, Crawfordville, Florida.

Dianne was happily married to Donald Horace Lairsey for 31 years. She loved her husband more than life. She also loved the Lord and loved serving Him beside her beloved husband.

Dianne is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Horace Lairsey, by her father, John Lewis Thomas, her mother, Eunice Delorice Thomas, and her grandson, Emanuel Beach, Jr.

Dianne is survived by her daughter, Heather Beach (Emanuel), stepdaughter, Hope Lairsey-Cervantes (David): brothers, Lewis Edgar Thomas (Penny) and Bobby Neal Thomas (Susan); grandchildren: Julian Abuasfour, and Emani Beach, Dale Walker (Madison), Jacob Walker (Skylar), Logan Cervantes: great-grandchildren: Audrey Rakestraw, Elizabeth Walker, Kole Walker, and Mary Kathryn Walker; sisters in law: Lee Brown, Jo Ann Gunn, and Faye Pouncey (Curtis); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with friends and family will be at New Light Church at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 7, 2021. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. The burial will follow the service at New Light Church Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
