Karen will be remembered for her warm heart, sharp wit, and wonderful sense of humor, which brought joy to those around her. She had a deep love for animals, especially her two beloved cats, Sadie and Peanut, who were her constant companions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and James Nixon, as well as her brother, Charles Nixon. Karen will be laid to rest beside her parents at Oakland Cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida.
Karen’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her laughter and spirit will live on in the memories she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice.
