

Keith Edward Veitinger died peacefully at home on July 15, 2015, surrounded by his family, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. Keith was born to Joyce and Richard “Dutch” Veitinger in Ohio. Upon graduation he moved to Tallahassee to attend TCC. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1970. Keith retired in April after working 43 years for the State of Florida. Keith also spent a lifetime involved in sports as a player, coach, and fan. However, the most important thing in Keith’s life was family and his most cherished time was spent with them.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and son, Christopher. He is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Kevin (Ginger); grandchildren, Jordan and Sydney; his mother, Joyce; siblings, Kathy and Kent (Terri); numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on July 23, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Culley’s MeadowWood, 1737 Riggins Road, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. The family wishes to thank Big Bend Hospice and requests in lieu of flowers donations be sent to them at 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, FL 32308.
