Kevin Stephen Knorst

Kevin Stephen Knorst was born Feb 10th 1978 and passed away suddenly on Sept 6, 2010. Kevin is preceded in death by Grandparents Don Knorst, William Wicher, Irene Wicher and Anton Kaye. He is survived by wife Danae, and their children Jack and Lily, his daughter Lonni (mother Heather Withers-Moorer), parents Steve Knorst and Diane Kaye, siblings Michael (wife Sarah, and sons Nathan and Andrew), Karen (husband Kevin Gingerich and daughter Faith) Mark and grandmother Elaine Knorst. Kevin will be missed as a loving uncle, nephew and cousin of many.

He will always be remembered as having a dream to play baseball. His hard work, dedication and pitching ability throughout his childhood and Lake Howell High School years was rewarded by a full Athletic scholarship to Auburn University in 1997. As a freshman, Kevin was an active player of the Auburn baseball team that won the annual SEC tournament as well as participated in the College World Series. Kevin lettered all four years at Auburn from 1997 thru 2000 and was named Academic All American in 2001. In addition to achievements in baseball Kevin successfully earned several educational degrees which included a BA in Business from Auburn, an MBA in Marketing from GA State, a BA in Accounting for University of West FL and his CPA certification. Kevin recently obtained a position as an IRS Special Agent where he relocated and became a resident of Tallahassee FL.

In remembrance and celebration of Kevin and all that he was, achieved and meant to us, his parents, siblings and extended family members will be gathering on September 25, 2010 at Miller’s Ale House Restaurant at 6141 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. All are welcome to stop by and share your memories.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated October 9th, 2010 at St. Juliana Chapel, 7200 N. Osceola, Chicago, IL 60631.
