Lillian “Joann” Wood Hall, 86, of Tallahassee, FL went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2021, at home with her daughters by her side. The eldest of four daughters of the late Frederick Wood and Laura Wood Robinson, she was born in Big Rapids, Michigan on January 22, 1935. She married Eugene Richard “Tiny” Hall on June 6, 1953 and was proud to say she lived in eight states with her husband. Eventually they retired to Valrico, Florida. After the death of her husband, she moved to Longwood, FL for several years before she finally moved to Tallahassee. She loved her banking jobs, reading, sewing, and playing bridge. She brought the Family together often for the most beautiful Christmas Eve Celebrations and her notable birthdays.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey E. Hall; daughters, Kendall L. Hall and Courtney B. Orrange (Tim); grandchildren, Wyley Farrand and Kaitlyn Orrange; sisters, Janet Veit, Judy Dryden, Dianne Partlo (David); and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years and many other relatives.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 6803 Old Highway 441 S., Mt. Dora, FL, 32757 on August 27, 2021 at 9:00am ET with inurnment to follow later at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
