Marie V. Collier, 90, passed away on Monday, November 2. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1956 and relocated to Tallahassee in 1970. She and her husband James were active in the Tallahassee Dog Obedience Club. Marie is survived by her husband, James, of 59 years; children Kathleen (Jerry) Owens, Richard (Earline) Collier, and Gary (Jane) Collier; grandchildren Katie, Jennifer, Amber, Alline, and Brian; great-grandchildren Hannah, Connor, and Sonia; close family friend Tom Walden. Marie was predeceased by her son, Kenneth. Visitation will be Friday, November 6 at 10:30, with a service to follow at 11 am at Culleys Riggins Road Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Tallahassee Leon Animal Shelter, 1125 Easterwood Drive, Tallahassee, 32311, or a charity of your choice.
