Born in Seaford, Delaware, on March 12, 1976, he is the son of Alan and Colleen Baker.
Mark was a graduate of Gretchen Everhart School in Tallahassee. He was a beloved member of the family and brought joy to all who knew him. Born with physical and mental disabilities, he was a blessing to his family. His absence leaves a profound hole in the family, but he will be remembered for his ability to bring out the best in us, love of family, music, traveling, and peach milkshakes, and most of all, his smile.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Erin McConnell, and her husband, Bill, of Atlantic Beach, FL, Erica Baker, and her fiancé, Ryan Jones of Tallahassee; a brother, Sean, and his wife, Anna of Central, SC; nieces, Ava Jensen of Tallahassee and Julia Baker of Central; and nephew, Samuel Baker of Central.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 15, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. A reception will immediately follow at the reception hall at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Burial will take place at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
