Moriah Carrie Christy

Moriah Carrie Christy, 17, a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 due to injuries sustained from a vehicle-pedestrian accident. Moriah was born August 2, 1997 in Houston, Texas. She is the daughter of Carrie Christy and Scott Christy.

Moriah was a junior at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida. She had one of the most beautiful souls in this world. Everyone who had the privilege to know her or be connected to her would agree. She was an absolute joy with her wit and infectious smile. There was no way you could be in Moriah's presence and not laugh and feel her overwhelming love and sweetness pour over you. She was kind and selfless. Moriah will be missed, not only by her mother and father, but her brother, her entire family, her friends and everyone who came in contact with this beautiful angel.

Moriah is survived by her mother, Carrie Christy, father Scott Christy, brother Ethan Christy, grandparents Charles and Linda Coleman, Larry Hersey, Richard Christy and Marlene Wall .

The family would like to thank friends and everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.

A viewing and visitation for Moriah will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Christian Life Fellowship Church 3608 Centerville Rd. in Tallahassee from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will also be held at the church on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:30am with burial to follow at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee.
