Nell Dekle went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 15, 2013.
She was born in Moultrie, GA on February 3, 1941, to her parents, Clinton and Alma Mitchell. Nell worked as a Manager of Operator Services for Sprint (CenturyLink) until her retirement 1n 1998. Nell loved to travel throughout the United States. From Niagara Falls to the Red Wood Forests she experienced first -hand the natural beauty of this great nation. Nell volunteered her free time with the Havana Garden Club and The Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Simeon Dekle,Sr.; son Simeon Dekle, Jr. (Brenda); grandchildren, Simeon Dekle III (Mikki), Brittany Gocker (Markus); great-grandchild, Preston Gocker; sister, Clarice Blackburn.
A visitation will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery in Dixie Georgia. An informal visitation will precede the burial in the church, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
