Well Nick, it's Keli's graduation day and we all wish you were here to share it with her.  I'm proud of her just like I was proud of you, whether you knew that or not.

I will miss our secret sleepovers, cooking with you, study nights, movie nights, jeopardy, riding on the crazy 4-wheeler with you, babysitting with you and most of all the moment when we would just laugh together for no reason at all. I have never met Nick personally, but I feel like I know him through his father, Dan. "Danny" and I grew up in Danville, VA, and I remember his childhood family well. Pictures of Nick look a lot like Dan as a kid, except "Danny" always wore glasses. Dan and I have stayed in touch over the years and miles by occasional phone calls; mostly, we share stories about our lives and families. All I can say is that I know that Dan and his family are very close and that they love each other deeply, and that Nick will be missed terribly. I pray that the pain of their loss will be lessened with time and that memories of Nick will keep him close always.

I briefly knew Nick when we played soccer together on the Rec+ team. I still remember the good times we had when we played together and I am devastated for your loss. 

Nick will continue to live on through the memories of all of those who knew him and especially through your love for him.
