

Nicholas Daniel “Nick” Condon, born January 15, 1993, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012. He was a 2011 graduate of Lincoln High School where he enjoyed playing soccer for 4 years. Nick will be remembered for his passion for soccer, love of nature, zeal for the outdoors, playful spirit, and thoughtful and caring heart. He was a joy to be around and had a wonderful, fun-loving personality. Nick enjoyed duck hunting on cold, clear winter mornings and rooting for the Seminoles, despite having many Gator friends and family. He loved his two big brothers and was so proud of their academic and military accomplishments. Nick was a loving, gentle, sensitive young man who was a constant source of entertainment and amazement for his large family, many friends and those who simply came to know him during his short life. He was the “big brother” to his two little friends who were his neighbors.
Nick is survived by his parents, Dan and Jan Condon; his two brothers and their wives, CW2 Colin P. Hightower and Kristen, stationed at Wheeler Army Airfield in Wahiawa, HI; Ryan and Erika Condon of Durham, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Virginia Barnes of Crawfordville ; paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Condon of Pensacola; aunts and uncles, June and Eugene Vause, Charlie and Cheryl Creel, and Edward and Dot Creel, all of Crawfordville; Mary Lou and Jim Bushong of Danville, Virginia and Randy and Selma Condon of Pensacola; cousins, Shaun (Kathy), Brian and Ashley Condon of Pensacola, Brad (Lauralee) Vause, Deana (John) Walker and Hillary Walls, all of Tallahassee, Kayla Creel, Jenny (Jeremiah) Stanley of Jacksonville, Dusty, Seth and Jessica Creel, Fernandina Beach and Tyler Bushong of Danville, Virginia. Finally, he leaves behind one special young woman who was not only his best friend, but the love of his life, Keli Dollar and her family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Barnes; paternal grandfather, Paul Condon; and his uncle, Jeff Condon.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church , 624 Miccosukee Road, Tallahassee, FL .
Nick will be sorely missed more than he ever realized by all who came to know and love him.
