Elizabeth Phillips, 75, a resident of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on August 27, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on March 27, 1941. Elizabeth graduated from Shanks High School in Quincy, Florida. She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship Church in Tallahassee, Florida.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Dewey Phillips of 57 years; daughter Kimberly (Roger) Phenix; son Michael Phillips; grandson Ryan (Leigh) Phenix; granddaughter Shelby Phenix; sister Ann Kirkland; brother Samuel Sanders and numerous other beloved family and friends. Elizabeth was preceded in death by father Levi Sanders; mother Inez Cox Sanders; stepmother Eloise Gainous Sanders; sisters Doris Harnage and Betty Roberts.
Visitation will be at 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Christian Life Fellowship Church with interment following at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may also be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Big Bend Hospice.
