Born in Dothan, Alabama, Pamela was raised by her mom and stepfather, Evelyn Garrett Pucket and George Puckett. She was married for 35 years to her beloved spouse, Timothy John O'Neil and was a devoted mother to Hannah Pauline O'Neil (Rowan).
Pam grew up in a large blended family that included 4 siblings and then married Tim who had 5 siblings so there was no shortage of family gatherings and celebrations in her life.
Pam worked all her life, including as a leasing agent, a legal receptionist, a Mary Kay consultant, a full time mom, a fund raiser and a school volunteer.
Pamela and Tim met when she was the leasing agent for his first apartment in Orlando. After dating and falling in love, Pam converted to Catholicism to marry Tim. She was active in her home parish in Coconut Creek, Mary Help of Christians Church and School.
Pam lived enthusiastically; she was a true people person who was energized by connection and friendships with others, she loved being involved with her church and school community, and she channeled her passion for motherhood to tirelessly support her daughter's activities. She possessed a spirit that was equal parts determination and optimism.
Pamela is remembered with love and affection by her husband and daughter, her siblings -- Deborah, Shirley, Jimmy, Dianna and their families, as well as her O'Neil in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A family service will be held at Culley's, 700 Timberlane Road on December 5 at 12:30 PM.
