Pat was my next door neighbor for 15 years. We shared a porch and many happy times. She was Aunt Pat to my cats and I was Aunt Iris to hers. I learned of Pat's passing when I called to let her and Don know my husband Ed had passed away Aug 25. My heart goes out to Don and all their family. Also to her Red Hat Ladies. There was no finer lady than Pat. One day I will send Don a card I got for her birthday but did not get sent. Her Red Hat Ladies will get a chuckle.

Don, Dad, Aunt Pam and the rest of our family.  Aunt Pat will always be in our hearts.  All the memories came to the surface today.  The Christmas presents, the day I spent with Aunt Pat and Don and we had Spaghetti.  All the times you came up to Fostoria, the Christmas presents from Aunt Pat were the best!  The set of Little Bear books.  She was always so dear and near to my heart.  All the emails sent back and forth.  The last thing she sent me was a box with crocheted dishcloths and scarves.  One of the dishcloths has been on my sink ever since.  So many happy memories.  She always wanted me to join the Red Hats.  Now is the time.  I love you Aunt Pat!
