Mr. Poole was a civil and mechanical engineer, and attended the University of Florida and Texas A&M University. He spent his working life in construction management, overseeing projects around the world. During WW2, he served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific.
Mr. Poole is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lillian (Jill) Headley Poole; daughter, Maria (Honey) Poole, Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters Jennifer (Adam) Smith, Cumming, GA, and Cheyenne Cron, Trinidad, CO; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Poole Tyndall.
