He was born in Chipley, Florida on March 12, 1944. He was married to Crispina Valdezco on April 16, 2004.
Philip Shoemaker had a career in Law Enforcement Working over 30 Years in the Florida Marine Patrol. Phil was a member of the Big Bend Filipino Association and the Asian Coalition of Tallahassee. He had a passion for hunting and yard work.
He is survived by two children: Philip Lynn Shoemaker Jr and Jessica Denise Shoemaker.Grandchildren: Kyle Moris, Ashley Moris, Smantha Shoemaker and Emily Shoemaker.
A funeral mass for Philip will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 653 Miccosukee Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32308, followed by an inurnment from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
A reception will take place immediately following the Inurnment in the fellowship hall.
