When I think of Randy McCoy,  I immediately think of laughter - I'm talking snorting and out-loud laughter, the kind that lights up your heart !   So grateful for the memories of this dear friend, and to know that he is safe in the arms of Jesus :)  .    Regina and family,  may God's never-failing Grace lift up your hearts during this time.... To Regina and the family, my deepest condolences. Randy always will be a part of this family. He truly enjoyed the times being together. When I was a part of the family reunions, I always looked forward to seeing him there. You will be missed but you will forever be loved and remembered.

I met Randy at pickleball in the senior center. We became good friends as he did with everybody there and enjoyed his personality every time I saw him. We all felt sad when he left our area and now even sadder that he's gone. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I knew Randy from many years of playing pickleball and I always loved Randy's positive, fun attitude. When he moved away from Tallahassee I really missed seeing him at the Senior Center. He was a good, kind hearted man.

I met Randy McCoy when I was a Regional Trainer with Globe Life.
Randy and I remained close friends for over 41 years.  I cherish our friendship.  Randy, thank you for all the great times we had together.  May God poor out his blessings upon you and your family. I will miss you,  My sister Regina was surely blessed to meet this gentle giant of a guy, a real McCoy! My blood brother shares the same name. We all referred to Randy as our other brother. We were all just as close. I know my blood brother would agree. He shared a lot with our family as a true brother. Happy times laughing and joking. And the grief of losing our parents. I will see u again, So I will not say goodby. Love u Sis!❤️

Last Tanksgiving my wife Rita and I, was thankful for spending the holiday with Regina and Randy. He knows how much I think of him, cause I never leave home,lol. Anyway, that night he wanted to get in the hot-tub and I said why not...well the water was hot and he asked me to help him get in and me going at around 170lbs, had a heck of a time when we got in...it was like slow motion, him going in and taking me with him. Needless to say, we laughed and had a heck of a time closing it up after getting out. He always made me feel special and love to play pool and frisbee.  We both always had to show off our knife collection... we always said we will do this or do that. Best man I ever knew and will forever have a hole in my heart.

Randy always had a joke when ever he  came to get a haircut. The world has lost such a sweet man.  

Sandi and I met Randy and Vickie back in the late 70’s in Bermuda at a Globe life national convention. We became good friends and  worked together on their managment team for over 25 years. I will miss him but one day we will be reunited in a far better place.  

What I admired about Randy mostly was his  unwavering  conviction in and to the things he held close to his heart.  Some of those things, but by no means all of them include his faith and trust in the Lord, his love for his wife and family, and lastly his sincere concern for his friends and people in general. I will truly miss his smiling face and our times cutting up and studying  the Word  of God  on our devotions every Friday morning with him and several of  my retired  buddies. Randy worked many years with His good friends at Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company and United American Insurance Company. He received many high company honors, whether as an Agent, Unit Manager, Southern Region Trainer or top-performing Branch Manager, culminating in service  with distinction as an honored member of our elite President’s Council advisory board. Later after retirement we were most fortunate that Randy was able to re-join us in our Friday Devotional Group, where many of these same individuals from all over the country gather by phone for about 90 minutes weekly. It was great fun to have Randy on our calls as we shared what was going on in our lives currently, recounted good times, laughed at bad jokes and then settled down to the business of a biblical message delivered by one of members in our rotational sermons. Randy served faithfully as our sermon leader on his own occasions, delivering most heart-felt and often emotional messages. We all feel blessed in that Randy was able to spend the last few years of his difficult illness together with us celebrating our triumphs, crying over our losses and laughing uproariously over our shared human weaknesses. We’ll all greatly miss our Devotional Brother’s sweet nature; he loved his family greatly and spoke proudly of them often. His loved ones can take great comfort in Randy’s ever-growing faith, faith that we personally witnessed strengthening  each and every week during his his years on our Devotional Calls. We all look forward to a happy reunion with our brother one day. We love Randy and will miss him greatly. God Bless.
