Randy was born in Los Angeles, California on November 9, 1949 to Jack Dean Seavey and Shirlee Conchita Manley.
Randy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and served two tours before being honorably discharged.
Randy had many careers in his lifetime including being a certified diving instructor and working for Norwegian Caribbean Cruise Lines, Dockmaster at the Miami Beach Marina and Director of Clubhouse Maintenance at Killearn Country Club and Inn. His most rewarding career was being owner/operator of Randy’s Improvements. He loved working with his hands and was an excellent carpenter, electrician, plumber and all-around handyman.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Hammett Seavey and his children Stacey Lee (Bill) Pitino, Melissa Starr (JR) Cleghorn, and Crystal Joy Seavey.
He also has two step-daughters, Kendall (Adam) Cushing and Paige Moret.
He has 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Randy enjoyed going on cruises with his wife, loving on his four dogs and fishing.
In lieu of flowers, please bring in a small bag of dog food to be donated to the Leon County Animal Shelter in honor of Randy who was an avid animal lover especially dogs.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Culley’s Funeral Home on Timberlane Road in Tallahassee, Florida.
