He is survived by his wife Diane Albert-Bass, 1 Son, Matthew Bass and his wife Monica, 1 daughter, Erin Bass-Whaley and her boyfriend Mark Galiano, 2 brothers, Chuck and Carl Bass, 1 sister Linda Lewis and her husband Donald “Duck”, all of Tallahassee. 2 Stepdaughters, Nicole and her husband Ryan Cote, Wendy and her husband Brad Hewitt of Maine. 2 Granddaughters, Callie and her husband Steven Burns of Crawfordville, FL, Mack and her husband Derek Cole of Tennessee. 13 Step grandchildren, 3 Great granddaughters, 4 Step Great grandchildren. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Many other family and friends near and far.
A graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery, located at 838 N Bronough St, Tallahassee, Florida, on January 24, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
There will be a gathering immediately following the graveside services at Lewiswood Farm, 4500 Natural Bridge road, Tallahassee, Florida.
