Robert was born and raised in Miami, Florida with a Catholic upbringing. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served valiantly during two tours in the Vietnam War. Robert later moved to Tallahassee where he worked and retired from the US Postal Service. In his spare time, Robert loved to saltwater fish and spend time with his loving wife, Joan, his children and grandchildren.
He will be missed greatly and remembered for his kind and gentle soul, loyal heart, million dollar smile, and incredible sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Consalvi; his children, Darrin Consalvi (Elizabeth), Michelle Consalvi, Chrissy Underwood (Miles), Terra Palmer, and Dallas Turner (Laura); his brother, Frank Consalvi; as well as many grandchildren and loved ones.
Funeral services for family and close friends will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, on September 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
