Kugler family,
I am trying to connect with one of Uncle Bob's children.  I have pictures ( some are posted here) that I would love to get to one of you.  
I am the daughter of Skip and Ann Kugler and reside in Texas.

You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?
The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life.
For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one. 

In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.

Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honor. 
Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?

For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

I give my condolences to the family. God will give you the strength you need to cope through your loss, as long as you ask for it (Philippians 4:13). May he also provide you comfort.

God's peace and consolations to the entire family. I have many fond memories of Bob Kugler and his poetry (I have his book!). I particularly appreciate his help with the K of C 3521 Bulletin and mailings! Miss you, Bro. Bob, rest well in Jesus.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. During this time of great sadness, I hope that the family find comfort from James 4:8. It says, "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you." Along with family and friends, may you'll also look to God for comfort.

Our hearts go out to all of you. We have been neighbors for so long although we were all so busy working it has been great to know you were always just a call away. We will miss Bob but please remember we are still next door.

Shirley, Bob was quite an impressive man and he will live a long long time in all of our memories.  The amazing strength of his words and his love will persist for many generations.  Proof of this is in that lovely family of yours.

We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. There are so many good times that was shared with Bob, especially our many golf outings that we had for a lot of years. His wit and great personality was alway a joy and a very dear friend.
