

She was married to George Wiegand on January 2, 2014.
She was predeceased by her mother Joan P Williams and father Leslie J Williams.
She is survived by her children: David Jefferson Eichelberger (Karyme ,Elena granddaughter),Haleigh Joan Wiegand, Thomas Vyacheslav Eichelberger and Mary Grace Irina Eichelberger. She leaves behind two sisters, Debbie W. Preece ( Steven D Preece,deceased) and Julie A.D. Evonna (Ann Thal).
She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Geology. Sandy worked as a petroleum Geologist for over 40 years, living in Tyler , Texas for the majority of her career.
Sandy’s greatest joy in the world was being a mom. Her love was tender, fierce and constant. She was devoted to her children and a source of great strength and support. They filled her heart. Sandy and George loved to travel, work out together and loved reading. They shared a deep loving, supportive and trusting partnership filled with laughter and adventures.
Sandy was vibrant, enthusiastic,a ray of positive light and sunshine and will be remembered forever.
Sandy was especially supported through her illness by The Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Their ministry was compassionate and healing, a great resource for comfort and solace.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Donkey Sanctuary Aruba (www.arubandonkey.org). George and Sandy took a recent trip to Aruba where Sandy adopted a sweet donkey named Igor and felt strongly about supporting this worthy cause.
The Celebration of Life will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312, on November 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
