Born on January 14, 1945, in Miami, Florida, Steve was a man known for his dedication and intelligence.
A graduate of the University of Florida, who later developed an affinity for Florida State University, Steve's career with the Federal Aviation Administration spanned over 40 years, primarily as an Air Traffic Controller. His professionalism and commitment to his work were defining aspects of his character.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Flagg; children, Brian, Danny, Kelley, and Mark; his sister, Dale; and his seven grandsons: Cory, Derek, Eli, Ethan, Keith, Kevin, and Quinn. His influence and presence in their lives were profound and enduring.
An avid birdwatcher, Steve found joy and tranquility in nature. This hobby showcased his patient and observant nature.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service. The family suggests that those wishing to honor Steve’s memory may make donations to a charity of their choice.
