Virginia (Rosie) had a love of many things. Her faith and family were paramount. She was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, where she was involved in many church groups and activities through the years. There she made lifelong friends with whom she shared her most important words of wisdom, "Give it up to God". Rosie was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, card games and the Florida State Seminoles. Whenever there was a Seminole football, baseball or other sports being played, you could hear her bellow the "war chant" from her big recliner in the living room. She was an enthusiastic fan for many years.
She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed by so many. Our special thanks to Sheryl Burgess and her staff for taking such great care of Rosie.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:15pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass beginning at 3pm.
