Virginia Ann Martin, a resident of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away at the age of 96 at Allegro on December 19, 2019 in Tallahassee, Florida after a lengthy illness. She was born in Rockaway Beach, New York on July 24, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Anna Kovary and Royal Dewey Smith. She was a member of the Catholic faith and enjoyed music and watching television. Virginia retired from the New York Telephone Co. as a Central Office Clerk.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, James and her parents.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Karen Encizo (George); son, James Martin (Lorraine); grandchildren, John Encizo (Connie Lange); Kristen Knapp (Joe), Laura Burgess (Lucas), and Christopher Martin (Paige); and great-grandchildren, Dalton, Colby, Lexi, Levi, Alexis and Roxy.
In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held.
