

Wayne Frederich, 77, of Tallahassee, died May 1, 2014 at Heritage Health Care Center. Wayne was born July 17, 1936 in St. Louis, MO to Harry and Josephine (Feldt) Frederich. He married his wife, Barbara Ann, December 11, 1971. They moved to Tallahassee in May 1977 from Ohio where he had been a high school teacher. Wayne was a long-time association executive in the Florida tourism industry and was a founding member of the Tallahassee Apple Users Group. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan and became an avid fan of FSU sports, especially the women’s basketball program. He was a member of the Seminole Boosters, the FSU Theatre Patrons Association and University Musical Associates and supported numerous other arts organizations. In addition to his wife, Wayne is also survived by a brother, Justin Frederich of Gainesville, GA, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and by sisters, Laverne Jostes and Arlene Boersig all of St. Louis. In accordance with his wishes there will be no services and his body has been donated for medical research. Memorial donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to the Michael J.
