Angelo Mela born on April 9,1925 and Passed away peacefully in his home on January 19,2018 at the age of 92. His Parents were Mr. and Mrs. Pascual and Mary Mela. His Late wife was Lorraine Mela whom is also missed by the whole family. They are together again. Angelo was an electrician in Mount Vernon, New York and was apart of the union for 60+years and contributed to some of the great monuments seen today Angelo was a Hero, He served in World war II He was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a loving father and a great provider for his family, and a pillar of the community. Angelo left behind his beloved family 3 children Pat Mela , Cynthia Paolercio and Sandra Ramos, and 5 Grandkids Frank Paolercio, Lauren Sacks, Jeanette Ramos, Peter Ramos, Keith Mela and Patrick Mela with all the grandkids also came 11 Greatgranchildren. He will be greatly missed, But never forgotten!!!
