I would like to send my condolences and prayers to you and your family. May you all find strength and comfort in her memories. 

My memory of Miss Hussey, as I called her, was of this beautiful, impeccably dressed lady.  She had this presence of this stately woman, hair well done, very exclusive looking clothing, and great scented perfume.  

The last time I saw her was when her time here had ended and she was being taken for her final dressing.  

Her life was one of love for her children and family, as well as respect for people who she interacted with.

I went with Junior on many occasions to pick her up from work, or to take her to work.  There were times where I would take her myself.

I don't know the answer or the meaning to life - but I wish for all of us still here to love and respect life, love and respect nature, the animals and plant life, and love, respect, and appreciate the power of the universe!

Mrs. Cynthia Hussey was one of those truest and dearest persons. 
When I first met her, she welcomed me with great warmth as if I was a long-lost friend. Over time I came to realize that she was a genuinely caring individual whose presence was always reassuring. She was a quiet individual who could be in a room with you, and you hardly noticed unless she spoke.
She possessed grace, love and patience especially towards her children and grandchildren. 
Her kindness and strength of character has inspired me in more ways than one.
I will forever remember and salute you, Cynthia Hussey. 


My mom was a contradiction in terms. She was always the tiniest one but,  made the biggest moves.  She was the first of her family to get on a plane and migrate to the US, a place she didn’t know and where she had no friends or family. She worked different jobs to take care of her family back in Jamaica and eventually brought them to this country.  My mom was a serious one always about business. My dad was  a hard worker too but, could always make you laugh at anything. The two complemented each other and created balance in the family.  I love you mommy and you will always be in my heart. You will be missed and but your memories will be with us forever. Rest In Peace.

Mom was a strong determined woman . She never gave up on her dreams and she has instilled that in all of us children . She looked out for us protected us and thought us to do the same for each other.   We have learned how to value what we have and how to make a little go a long way.  She provided for us all including our dad who has long passed on before her.  She has passed on those wonderful qualities to us.  She is and will always be loved and missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she left behind.
